Preparation of Environmental and social impact assessment Study for the Project Construction of dam Lukovo Pole and Korab waters intake is quit challenging task.

Construction activities are supposed to be implemented in the sensitive areas of Mavrovo National Park, and analyses are to compare benefits of use of renewable energy sources, such as hydro power, with negative environmental impact.

Under guidance of Pöyry Infra GmBH, prominent team of national experts is engaged in the World Bank Project for Macedonian Electric Plants ELEM as a Client. Expertise includes assessment to all environmental sectors and media, followed by discussion with stakeholders and public participation.

Duration of the assignment is until June 2012.
